Morwell is situated approximately 2 hours drive east of Melbourne in the heart of the Latrobe Valley.  The Morwell Golf Club is one of country Victoria’s best presented and maintained golf courses. While a 6079m, Par 72 (ACR 72) layout awaits to challenge male golfers of all levels, the ladies have an equalling challenging 5283m, Par 72 (AWCR 71) layout to contend with. It is hard to believe that this course is in the centre of the major power generating area of the state. The gentle slopes of the course and the farmland surrounding it mask the course from the Power Stations dotting the surrounding landscape.

Weekly competitions are conducted for members and guests. Saturdays are member’s day, Sunday competitions are for both men and women with Mondays being an open competition to cater for the many shift workers in the district. Wednesdays are ladies competition day and all competitions attract good fields.

If you prefer to play at other times green fee players are welcome outside normal competition times.  Golf carts are available for hire and can be booked through our Golf Shop on (03) 5134 4235.
