The Yallourn Golf Club is located on the western side of the Latrobe Valley on the edge of the Newborough township, 1 hours drive from Dandenong along the Princes Freeway. Golfers enjoy the benefits of superb Santa Ana couch fairways and challenging bent grass greens on a course renowned for its ability to test the abilities of both novice and expert golfers while enjoying the magnificent views of the Baw Baw mountain ranges to the north. Yallourn offers week-round golfing opportunities to both members and green fee players with an open Men’s competition day on Wednesdays, Ladies competition day on Thursday and Men’s and Ladies competition day on Saturday. The Yallourn Golf Club welcomes social groups and green fee players to its course and has recently completed major renovations to its clubhouse and surrounds to provide members and visitors with all the necessary facilities to enjoy wonderful on-course and “après-golf” experiences. The new deck to the north of the clubhouse provides members and visitors with the opportunity to view players completing the last holes of their round plus unmatched views of the mountains to the north. For easy access from Melbourne, travel east along the Princes Freeway past Warragul for 20 minutes and take the Newborough turn-off (4.5 kilometres past the Moe McDonalds restaurant) then head east along John Field Drive for 4 kilometres. Turn right into Golf Links Road and travel 400 metres to the Clubhouse for what we are sure will be a memorable experience for you and your playing partners.
