Yarram Golf Club is located along the South Gippsland Highway in Central Gippsland. The course is entirely volunteer run and was recently rated Australia’s best volunteer operated course and is also consistently rated in the top ten public access courses in Victoria.

In February 2008, we ran our second Pro-Am event – in conjunction with the VGA - with 56 touring professionals and more than 150 amateurs taking part on a warm, still Sunday. The 2009 Pro-Am will be run in February next year, so come along and have some fun.

The course is immaculate and a very good test of golf. Our 18 hole watered sandbelt layout offers the best possible golfing conditions. The course is carved out of natural bush with plenty of bush remaining, so don’t be surprised to see Wallabies, Goanna’s, Kangaroos and a host of birds as you enjoy this terrific test of golf.

Yarram has a very reasonable summer climate – not too hot and not too dry and there is plenty to see and do in the district itself, which makes it an ideal spot to bring a partner. So, why spend hours driving to Victoria’s hot north, when you can cruise down to green and beautiful South Gippsland.

Yarram is a complete small town, with two supermarkets, three hardware stores, many cafes and restaurants, a hospital and medical centre, theatre, gift shops, op shops, tennis courts, bowling rinks, gaming and more. Chances are you will find all you need.

Nearby is historic Port Albert and the famous ‘Fish N Chips’ from the Pier is a real treat.

Yarram also is close to the Tarra Bulga National Park, Grand Ridge Road and the Strzelecki Ranges, the 90 Mile Beach and many attractions of interest
